The villa has a Meeting Room for 20 to 50 people, with tables and chairs, satellite TV, direct phone and wireless ADSL Internet connection. The Meeting room has beautiful natural light, as it opens with tow very large low French windows onto the Medieval courtyard and has thick blue curtains to close during projections.
Coffee Break – Buffet and Light lunches - Dinners can be served inside, or outside in the Courtyard and the park, to take advantage of the green surroundings as well!

Villa Villoresi: a fortress of the XII century, was transformed into a summer residence during the Renaissance, enlarged and enriched with works of art and frescoes of great value.
It is a National Monument and boasts the longest terrace in Tuscany which overlooks an Italian garden full of lemon trees, roses and wild orange-trees. A very pleasant swimming pool was added in the sixties when the Villa was turned into Hotel.
It is located 2 miles from Florence Airport Peretola "Amerigo Vespucci", 8 Km. or 5 miles from the centre of Florence and from Prato which can booth be reached by bus, by local train and by taxi. At 3 Km. from the crossing of 2 Highways: A1 “Autostrada del Sole” and A11 “Autostrada del mare”. Leave at the exit “Calenzano-Sesto Fiorentino” then take the directions for Sesto Fiorentino and follow the signs to Colonnata and to Hotel Villa Villoresi.

Payment: if participants are staying at Villa Villoresi during the Meeting, we require a deposit covering the first night's stay at the Hotel and the cost of the first day of the Meeting room at the moment of confirmation of the group, also through a credit card number with name and expiry date. Eventual extra charges will be invoiced and paid at the end of the stay.

If participants are not staying at Villa Villoresi during the Meeting, and just require the use of the Meeting Room, Coffee break, Buffet or light lunch and other services for 1 or more days: we require a deposit covering the cost of the first day of the Meeting room, with a credit card number with name and expiry date at the moment of confirmation of the group. Eventual extra charges will be invoiced and paid at the end of the stay.

When guest stayng at the Villa for the meeting, have some spare time and want to pass a part of their day or a full day doing something specialm, we propose short excursions and special events to have an idea of the context around the villa, in Florence and Tuscany. Some proposals follow below to give an idea of what is possible and what coul be more interesting for your guest. On your request, we can make reservations were needed, we will give you information about car rentals and instruction given on how to reach the different places.

Some possible excursions could be:

1) Half day excursion nearby: to see two gorgeous villas of Renaissance villas and their first designed gardens:  the Royal Villa of “Castello” to see an enchanting garden, the hunting grotto and the park with fountains and sculptures by Giambologna and Villa “La Petraia” to see the King’s apartments, the garden and the park.

2) Half day excursion for ladies especially, but not only! Fashion, Art and Jewells. Starting in an ancient street on the other side on the river, and passing trough a magnificent garden you reach a gorgeous Villa with a fantastic view over the city to see the new Roberto Capucci High Fashion Foundation, with his many creations and drawings, a real enjoyment!  In the same villa, an exhibit of paintings, etchings and drawings by Pietro Annigoni. If you have enough time, it is possible to go through the Boboli Gardens to Pitti Palace for a visit to the Silver Museum: which contains ancient silver, other collections and the recent acquisition of modern jewellery, from Maria Ludovica de’ Medici to the great contemporary artists.

3) Half day excursion dedicated to art and perfumes! The Uffizi Gallery, the world most famous paintings collection of primitives and Renaissance painting, and much more. A Special Event: at the Academy of the Art of Perfumes, in a private Florentine palace to be seduced by the power of perfume and discover certain scents. Presentation of the Art of Perfumery and a drink with a spectacular view of the city. Reservation needed. Possibility of shopping in the palace. 

4) Half day dedicated to great Painting and Sculpture: Beato Angelico at the Convent of San Marco and Michelangelo’s David and the Prisoners at the Academy of Fine Arts.

5) Half day dedicated to Art and Science and to the city of Prato: to see in the old city centre, the Cathedral with masterpieces by Andrea della Robbia, Donatello, Filippino Lippi, Agnolo Gaddi, and Giovanni Pisano-. Then the very modern Museum of planetary sciences. This scientific project is conceived to facilitate access to information by extensive application of images, videos and multimedia, suitable for all kinds of visitors. In the "Quadrisfera", you can participate in a multi-projection that takes you through suggestive images, the events going from the formation of the universe and of the sun system, until the birth of life on our planet. Minerals and a little shop make this a trip of great varied and pleasant interest.

6) A morning or an afternoon dedicated to Arms, Armatures and Art: Visit to the Stibbert Museum, to see an impressive collection of Renaissance and Oriental arms and armature given to Florence by Mr. Stibbert, an English gentleman, together with his house and garden. Then the centre of Florence: The Cathedral, Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell Tower.

7) A morning or an afternoon to see Florence from the hills: the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte, the gorgeous church and view. Then to the Museum of Natural History, called LA SPECOLA. Opened to the public in 1775, it is the oldest scientific Museum in Europe,with the greatest collection in the world of Anatomic Waxes done between 1770 and 1850, about 5.000 animals are exposed, some of each extinct species. 5 rooms dedicated to birds, including one where it is possible to listen to the song of some Italian bird species.The Skeleton Saloon, is on the main floor with it's original theca from the XIX century. In 1841, was built in the same palace the tribune dedicated to Galileo Galilei was built in the same palace.

8) Half day in the Chianti area:  a trip through the Chianti area, where you can visit the rare oil and wine cellars belonging to a private farm and villa. A light lunch in the farm follows with local cheeses and specialties, tasting their olive oil and wines.
