Enjoying Florence's private and public collections, the magnificent Tuscan country side, Perfumes, Jewelry, Music, Wines and Cuisine ! A 7 night special cultural programme for small groups of 12 to 22 persons.

Day 1 - Tuesday: Arrival in Florence transfer from the airport or station and check-in at Villa Villoresi- At 7pm: Cocktails, the owner of the villa will present the program and the personalities involved - Dinner at the villa.
Day 2 - Wednesday: Visit to Fiesole and to the outstanding garden of a private Villa - S.Miniato - light lunch in a typical "osteria" - then to Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens. A special event : the director of the Silver Museum of Pitti Palace, will give you a lecture-visit showing the exceptional silversmith's works and other ancient and modern collections just acquired, will speak about "the jewelry from M. Luisa de ' Medici, to the great artists of today. A walking tour in the city : from Ponte Vecchio to the Baptistery and its golden doors - Back for dinner.
Day 3 - Thursday: Dedicated painting and perfumes : visit to the convent of S. Marco to see Beato Angelico then the small delightful Magi's Chapel, frescoed by B.Gozzoli at Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the family home of Lorenzo de'Medici. La Misericordia an ancient charity institution, still functioning. The Uffizi Gallery. Light lunch in town. A special visit : at the Academy of the Art of Perfumes, in a private Florentine palace to be seduced by the power of perfume and discover certain scents. Presentation of the Art of Perfumery and a drink with a spectacular view of the city. Possibility of shopping in the palace. Dinner free.10 p.m. transfer back.
Day 4 - Friday: Dedicated to the splendor of the Tuscan country side and to Siena: a special visit at Impruneta " The terracotta tradition from Brunelleschi to the present day at Impruneta: an artisan while he is working at cotto vases and decorations ". Travel through the Chianti area, where you will visit the rare oil and wine cellars of a private farm and villa, A light lunch in the farm with local cheeses and specialties, tasting their olive oil and wines . Then to Siena , the city of the Palio. Back to the villa for dinner.
Day 5 - Saturday: Dedicated to sculpture: Michelangelo at the Academy and at the Medici Chapels - A walking tour throughout the market and light lunch in town. Orsammichele and Bargello, the places of political and religious power of the Renaissance - A special visit: The owner of a gorgeous palace in the center invites you for a cup of tea and will show you the treasures hidden behind the understated facade of her palace-home. A show room in the palace and possibility of shopping. Afternoon and dinner free. 10 p.m. transfer to the villa.
Day 6 - Sunday: Full day dedicated to Lucca and Pisa: discover a private Villa and its rare garden, then the city of Lucca, the walls and the dome. Lunch in Lucca. The house of Puccini, where many of his operas were composed, then to Pisa, the leaning tower and Miracles square. Back to the Villa for dinner.
Day 7 - Monday: Dedicated to Sciences, Architecture and Music: Galileo at Science's Museum - Cathedral - Bell Tower and Opera del Duomo. Special visit: a surprising oasis in the heart of Florence, a drink in a garden with ancient trees, full of flowers, redesigned in the late XIX, behind the facade of rare private palace. Lunch and afternoon free. 5 p.m. transfer back. 7 p.m. Live Concert for lute: "The music of Leonardo and Michelangelo's times and its relationship with the social life in the Renaissance" Evening Gala dinner with special guests.
Day 8 - Tuesday: Departure from the villa and transfer to Florence airport or station.
Villa Villoresi is the Villa-Hotel where you will live! A fortress of the XII century, transformed into summer residence, enlarged and enriched with works of art and frescoes of great value during Renaissance. Hotel from the sixties, the Villa is a National Monument and boasts the longest terrace in Tuscany overlooking an Italian garden full of lemon trees, roses and wild orange-trees, where was added a very pleasant swimming pool. Five miles from the center of Florence, the villa has preserved intact the character and charm of old times, the original frescos and antique furnishings. Its a place where you can feel at home and enjoy the elegant, relaxing atmosphere!
